Social Media Recruiting
Social Media Recruiting involves the use of various social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter to target job seekers, network with professionals, and advertise open positions, and engage the right audience at the right time. Employers may engage in "groups" that are specific to a demographic region or industry. For example, Facebook hosts a number of "help wanted" groups where employers can post their opportunities and candidates can be informed when their favorite companies are hiring. Social media also acts as a communication method as job seekers can interact with employers through the use of comments, direct messaging, follows, shares, tweets, and likes (to name a few!). Social media recruiting is an excellent method of finding top talent.
