What is an Internal Job Listing?
An Internal Job Listing is a job opening only available to a company's current employees.
An employer/hiring manager may opt to keep a job opening internal because:
- They want to ensure the applicant has industry knowledge and experience.
- They may already have someone in mind for the position.
- They may want (or may be required) to promote from within the company.
- They want to save time on hiring if the job needs to be filled immediately.
