How it all started

ApplicantPro was founded in 2007 by Ryan Kohler, who saw a need for affordable, and simple, yet effective hiring solutions to streamline HR responsibilities. He wanted to help the underdog companies be able to compete with the large businesses around them by providing affordable and effective hiring solutions.

In the beginning, we worked very closely with other HR software providers to add our Applicant Tracking piece to the software they were providing. Working with these Assessments, Background Checks, and Onboarding Partners was the basis for how we started, and our partners are still a huge part of who we are at ApplicantPro!

We realized pretty early on that we needed to nail the applicant sourcing piece of our software to empower our clients to get the most qualified applicant flow for their open positions. We started integrating with job boards and creating a seamless way for companies to post their jobs and track all of their applicant flow in one place.

With this hungry, humble, and abundant mindset... this became one of the founding cornerstones of ApplicantPro.
