Training Specialist - US (Work at Home/Call Center)

Skybridge Americas has an exciting career opportunity for a Work-at-Home Training Specialist!

Position Summary

Reporting to the Training Manager, the Training Specialist provides instruction and support for employees on Skybridge America's policies, positioning, products, and services in a primarily virtual classroom environment for assigned programs in our Contact Center Solutions teams. This position is expected to be versed in adult learning theory, facilitation/presentation skills using virtual classroom tools, management of the learner environment and specialize in outbound customer experience and will assist with inbound training. The Training Specialist trains employees on new company initiatives or development curriculum as needed. This position will observe classes and provide feedback to Embedded Trainers as needed. Assignments and responsibilities include direct training, needs analyses, custom course development, and evaluation & learning assessments.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Deliver high quality outbound and inbound training with a customer-satisfaction focus to audiences using a variety of media types utilizing virtual classrooms.
• Maintain high level of expertise in training subject matter and interact with subject matter experts in new course development of assigned program(s).
• Monitor the quality and effectiveness of the learning environment, outbound and inbound practices and outcomes. 
• Translate system functionality into effective outbound training materials & activities.
• Educate employees on new company initiatives, program specific skills and knowledge.
• Assist in the implementation of training initiatives to meet timelines and budgets.
• Assist in the development of surveys and evaluation strategies for analysis and evaluation.
• Assert self, influence, demonstrate organizational savvy and overcoming objections, hesitations and hurdles 'comfortable having tough conversations.
• Model self-improvement practices by staying current on learning industry trends and relevant business topics.
• Identifies root causes of skill set deficiencies and collaborate with the L&D team to develop training solutions.
• Collaborates effectively with leadership groups and team members to evolve curriculum & activities for assigned programs.
• Provide daily trainee progress reports, including trainee hours to Operations and leadership teams.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-year degree/certification or equivalent related field experience.
• 2+ years of experience in learning and development, specifically facilitating and instruction in a virtual classroom environment.
• 1-2 years training program design and development experience preferred.
• Must have the ability to work with and through others to achieve desired results. Must work effectively in a team environment. Team and relationship building skills required.
• Ability to utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface with personnel (at all levels) effectively. Communicate concepts, systems, procedures, etc., in a learning environment clearly.
• Expert working knowledge of technical and non-technical training media. Authoring tool proficiency.
• Ability to convert information into a meaningful business context relevant to the learner's needs.
• Excellent time and project management experience and abilities.
• Proficient use of PowerPoint, Word, Excel and MS Teams
• Proven use of training methodologies (adult learning theory, the ADDIE process, Bloom's Taxonomy, and the Kirkpatrick and/or Phillips models of evaluation and measurement).
• Proven experience with tools such as Captivate and Connect preferred.
