Prefabrication Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Build and produce multiple different SKUs in a production environment
  • Meet daily production goals
  • Produce high quality products with no defects
  • Work with hand tools and other machinery
  • Work with pipe, plumbing fittings, fiberglass insulation, sheet metal
  • Soldering, brazing, occasional welding
  • Lifting/moving heavy material
  • Keeping track of inventory
  • Work solo or in small teams on a daily basis
  • Basic math and job planning
  • Forklift operations
  • Work in a SAFE and professional manner

Qualifications:

  • Ability to learn quickly with a desire to continue learning
  • Strong work ethics
  • Disciplined and focused, strong sense of integrity
  • Strive for continuous improvement
  • Good attitude, adaptable, dependable
  • Able to work on your feet all day in an unconditioned warehouse
  • Show up on time ready for work
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Excellent communication skills to be used when working with Kimbel employees and customers
  • Having a general knowledge of plumbing, heating and electrical systems
  • MIG welding experience helpful
