Manufacturing Applications Engineer ( PCB Manufacturing)
Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring for a Technology Program Senior Engineer at our corporate headquarters in Chandler, AZ.
THE ROLE
The Technical Program Engineer is a challenging, high impact position. You will be active in managing and technically contributing to key technically-oriented projects, focusing on customer requirements and customer interaction. The engineer will bring together Isola's expertise to positively respond to the customer and often manage customer communication: Providing a Global Isola perspective. You will directly relate to the successful adoption rate of new materials by key customers. You will do this by creating goals for final product performance and leading/contributing to the resolution of critical technical issues to allow the product to meet goals.

TOP RESPONSIBILITIES
- You enable rapid Introduction of New Materials to Key Isola Customers. Key interface in translating early material properties into functioning product.
- You lead PCB Test Vehicle process. Ensure Isola TV's are representative of customer needs, add new testing as market requirements evolve. Evaluate results of the vehicles and determine if testing is successful or not.
- You lead and contribute to significant Technical Programs. These would include items such as: Major customer material qualifications, reliability qualification projects, and customer issue resolution
- You develop PCB processes and training tools for New Materials and creating customer Processing Guides for New Materials
- You provide input on customer needs and requirements for new material properties.
- You work with Product Reliability team. Develop expertise in key product requirements. Support or develop approaches to reduce issues as they are found.
QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S. or advanced degree in a technical discipline such Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science
- 5+ years of experience in PCB manufacturing in a technical role
- You're experienced introducing New Materials or Processes strongly desired
- You have the ability to work cross-functionally across departments driving and executing on projects
- You have demonstrated successful project management
- You have expertise in Microsoft excel, Word and other Office applications
