Office Assistant- Operations/Engineering

Golden Valley Electric Association (GVEA) is looking for an energetic individual as our Office Assistant- Operations and Engineering as part of the Operations Team located in Fairbanks, Alaska. This full-time IBEW position earns a competitive starting wage of $24.90 hourly and excellent benefits

A day in the life of an Office Assistant- Operations and Engineering can look like:

Use interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service support to the membership as the primary and on-going point of contact for members, contractors and local agencies to support the Engineering and Operations divisions. Work closely with all Operations and Engineering staff on Association processes and work flow, program administration, scheduling, travel arrangements, accounts payable, payroll, correspondence, and consumer account generation.

Eligibility

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years' experience working in a direct customer service related capacity in a service industry.
