Position Summary
Non-exempt job established for the purpose of validating and data-entering enrollment information, interfacing with internal/external customers and maintaining accurate customer data in our databases.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enter customer data/benefits from enrollment forms and support documents.
- Research and resolve discrepancies between enrollment forms, master files, provider data, and client data and communicates results to appropriate parties on an as needed basis.
- Maintain dependent files as required by contractual obligations.
- Assists the Management Team with quality control checks on data entry of forms as input by the Data Entry Clerk.
- Provide copies of enrollment forms and/or specific data to Data Entry Clerk for digital imaging retention.
- Validate set-up files as they pertain to enrollment processing menus, conducts testing of data entry programs as development changes occur.
- Interface with Insurance Vendors as necessary to ensure communication and documentation of problem research and resolution.
- Interface with Customer Service Team as necessary to ensure communication and documentation of problem research and resolution.
- Maintain current procedural manuals and supporting plan rules for assigned clients.
- Communicate work status via Daily Log.
- Assists Management with coordination of enrollment activities and project tasks during seasonal client enrollment.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of two (2) years work experience in an office or clerical function preferred. Post-secondary education may be substituted year-for-year for the experience.
Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software and Spreadsheet software.
