Elder Hanson & Company, Ltd. of Naperville, Illinois is actively seeking a motivated part-time Tax Season Intern to join our office team during the 2025 tax season (February 1st through Tax Day, generally April 15th). A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TAX SEASON INTERN

In this accounting role, you primarily organize and scan client tax documents, review these documents for readability and accuracy, and then save them to our document management system. Additionally, you will prepare emails with instructions to provide to our clients, save electronic documents and print completed tax returns for professional presentation to our clients. Your efforts will reduce the administrative workload in our office and provide more availability for our team members to serve our clients. Using your superb communication skills, you correspond with other team members and route client projects to designated team members. TAX SEASON INTERN QUALIFICATIONS

• College student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Access to reliable transportation to and from our office to perform your work at our office location

TAX SEASON INTERN WORK SCHEDULE

This tax season intern position works up to 30 hours per week at our office and is expected to be available for at least 15 hours per week during normal business hours. Our business hours are 9 AM to 5 PM on Monday through Friday and 9 AM to 3 PM on Saturdays during tax season.
