Technology Sales Specialist - Charlottesville/Harrisonburg/Staunton/ I-81 Corridor
Harrisonburg/Staunton/ I-81 Corridor Territory Sales Position: Cobb Technologies is looking for a dedicated, high-energy sales professional for our Charlottesville office to work with the Harrisonburg/Staunton Territories! Do you have what it takes?! We think SO!
Primary Function
-
- Responsible for Company product sales activity for a specific geographic sales territory (Harrisonburg/Winchester).
- Use a consultative selling approach for developing a strong business to business relationship.
- Interact with other departments throughout the company.
Working Procedures
-
- Develop and implement a weekly activity strategy for generating new accounts. This requires visiting potential business clients
- Participate in all levels of product in house training, and special promotions for the sales team.
- Initiate contact and develop an ongoing relationship with all current accounts.
- Initiate, prepare and propose consultative business proposal for generating new and renewing current accounts.
- Probe current and potential accounts for present equipment structure and cultivate new business for all aspects of Cobb's solutions.
- Maintain records of all weekly activities through SHERPA for the purpose of meeting plan goals and to forecast for the upcoming months.
- Work closely with Sales Manager to support marketing campaigns for assigned sales territory.
- Report on weekly performance and activity to Sales Manager.
- Work closely with service and all administrative departments.
- Assume any additional duties that may be assigned.
- Follow all company policies and safety regulations.
- Work overtime, weekends if necessary.
- Respond to all individuals and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Receive oral and written instructions from Sales Manager
Job Requirements

- Strong aptitude in sales principles and office procedures including Microsoft Office.
- Detail oriented including excellent time management skills
- Personal vehicle for traveling to clients business
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Reliable
- Self-directed
