Cancer Care Northwest is hiring a full-time Compliance Officer whos main responsibilities are 1) to oversee compliance related activities; 2) to provide strategy for risk assessment and reporting; 3) integrate compliance and other related activities; 4) monitor and respond to the regulatory environment; 4) continually raise awareness of compliance, integrity and risk issues through ongoing communication and training.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job.

Formal Education, Certification/Licensure, and Prior Experience: to perform this job successfully, an individual must have:

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Organization facilitation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Application of leadership skills
  • Knowledge of budgeting and fiscal controls
  • Ability to adapt to a variety of workload assignments
  • Demonstrated management/leadership and program management skills
  • At least one nationally recognized certification in a related field (i.e., Certification in Health Care Compliance (CHC), Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certificate or Certification in Health Care Informatics, preferred

It is preferred an individual have:

  • a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • a minimum of three (3) years related work experience in healthcare management, Business Office/Reimbursement, compliance/regulatory affairs, and/or quality improvement initiatives

** Washington State Covid-19 Mandate requires all medical offices to obtain verification of Covid-19 vaccinations or a completed exemption form for a religious or medical exemption. A medical exemption must also include a note from a licensed provider.

Please note this verification is also required for our Idaho employees. At anytime these individuals could float between states.
