Senior Manager - Infrastructure Initiatives

The 150,000-member American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) seeks an energetic, highly organized person with excellent communications and project management skills and an interest in and understanding of infrastructure policy issues and public affairs to join our Washington, DC staff.

The Senior Manager of Infrastructure Initiatives plays a critical role in ASCE's Infrastructure Report Card program, supporting the development of ongoing outreach related to the national Report Card for America's Infrastructure and providing day-to-day management of the development and release of state and regional Infrastructure Report Cards by ASCE member sections and branches.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented with strong writing and speaking skills, project management experience, a baccalaureate degree, and at least five years professional experience, ideally with a professional society or trade association and/or addressing infrastructure policy issues. Experience working with the media, social media, and web content is a plus.

ASCE is a nonprofit professional membership association dedicated to the advancement of civil engineering in order to serve the public good.
